HOW TO BE "POLITICALLY CORRECT" IN OZ

All in fun and tongue in cheek, we present some of the "politically correct" things that might be required if the movie were "updated".
Of course, we all know that this story cannot be "improved" on, can it???

  • Cowardly lion renamed 'Conscientiously Objecting Lion'.
  • To avoid offending pagans, the Wicked Witch of the East will be renamed the Wicked Fundamentalist Of The East.
  • Flying monkey scenes cut due to PETA protests.
  • Burning of Scarecrow removed due to fear of children burning their kid brother.
  • New action figure line from Trendmasters, featuring "Deadly Dorothy with Atomic Bucket", "Terrible Toto with Razorfangs", and "Shrapnel Shootin' Tin Man"
  • CGI used to add black, hispanic, and asian Munchkins.
  • Hourglass replaced with digital 'doomsday clock'; tense "Red wire? Blue wire?" scene as Scarecrow and Lion try to disarm it.
  • When Wicked Witch dies, castle explodes (with Big Stupid Ring); "outrunning the explosion" scene follows.
  • When Dorothy&co return to the Wizard with the broomstick, Dorothy announces, "We came, we saw, we kicked her bu**!"
