Posted: Mon Aug 31, 1998 at 5:04 PM ET Former North Melbourne forward Andrew Goodwin is the only player picked up in the National Baskletball League draft following the merger of the North Melbourne Giants and South East Melbourne Magic.
Goodwin has been selected by the Townsville Crocodiles, where he'll renew relations with head coach Ian Stacker, the former Giants assistant.
The 240 game veteran will be at his fourth club after stints with the Gold Coast, Brisbane and the Giants.
Goodwin was nominated for the draft after missing selection in Melbourne's new Titans team, formed by the Magic and Giants merger.
Former Giants players Patrick Reidy and Stephen Whitehead were not picked up in the draft.
