Began in January of 1994 to help local bands get some publicity and to help the music scene overall, the program soon started featuring national acts on tour through Dallas, beginning with guitar legend Yngwie Malmsteen. Originally, the program broadcast live, featuring performances, interviews, and music news, but due to gremlins, it would never fail that a string would break or mic would go out while on the air, despite how well the soundcheck went before the show. Producer/Director Ethan Nahté began taping the bands in the studio as if it were a live show, stopping only when something major went wrong. No lip-syncing was allowed!Eventually, Mr. Nahté grew tired of the inadequate equipment at the access studio he was using and began shooting the show at local rock clubs. However, the Dallas hard rock scene was dying fast, and taking the clubs with it. Mr. Nahté still interviews national acts when they come through the Dallas/Fort Worth area as well as taping portions of their concerts. Included are music videos from national acts, local bands, and other bands from around the world in an effort to publicize the bands and to help them get noticed. If you're band has a video that fits into the Hard Rock, Metal, Punk, Ska, or Heavy Industrial genres and is of broadcast quality and is in good taste (meaning that it won't need any editing to prevent it from being pulled off the air) feel free to send it to :
