SOMETHING NEW
Whatever is true, whatever is noble,
Whatever is right, whatever is pure,
Whatever is lovely, and whatever is admirable,
If anything is excellent or praiseworthy....
Think about such things. Whatever you have learned
Or received or heard from me or seen in me put into practice.
And the God of peace will be with you.
Philippians 4:8-9
TO EACH HIS OWN
I cannot change the way I am,
I never really try,
God made me different and unique,
I never ask him why.
If I appear peculiar,
There's nothing I can do,
You must accept me as I am,
As I've accepted you.
God made a casting of each life,
Then threw the old away,
Each child is different from the rest,
Unlike as night from day.
So often we will criticize,
The things that others do,
But do you know, they do not think,
The same as you and me.
So God in all his wisdom,
Who knows us all by name,
He didn't want us to be bored,
That's why we're not the same.
FROM THE HEART OF MARYJANE
There's so much that I've learned in the past few weeks. And although I need to change a lot of the way I think and feel; there are some things that I will never change. And that is my deep feelings for others. I've learned that not everyone is going to like and accept me. On the other hand I must learn to be the same way and that is where I'm having a hard time. Even if you hurt me I can't let go crazy right? I can and will forgive you no matter what! So how come I can't be given the same chance?
The other night I had this really deep feeling of sadness overcome me. And for the first time in a while I realized that I must talk about it instead of hiding. I talked about it and I found it worked much better.
I wish to thank Linda for sending me the Philippians 4:8-9
The words above helped.
And thank you Dede. To each his own, made me see in print what I've believed all along. I'm me and proud of how I turned out. If I'm weird in anyone's eyes that's okay, I accept you as you are. It's your choice whether to accept me or not.
No matter what happens in our lives, we have at least one choice.
We can either say, "That's good!" or "Isn't it awful!"
The more we can say "That's good" the happier we'll be.
Take care, all my friends! I love you
