Titanic!!! That legendary ship is a big market ever since James Cameron's movie about it was released on Dec.19,1997. People want anything Titanic. Books, music, Leonardo Dicaprio, Kate Winslet, James Cameron, etc. So far the movie has grossed $516 million total and is the #1 top grossing film of all time. It's cd is #1 as well. Wait till it comes out on video.

It took me awhile to come up with exactly what I wanted to say about this film. And even now, I'm not sure I could do it justice. I saw it the night it opened and once more since. That first night, I swore i would never watch it again. I'm not into mushy films. But, like so many other people, it has caught me. I'm TITANIC CRAZED!!!!!

I'm sure many people can relate to what I felt while watching it. I was on the Titanic. I was Rose. I felt her loss. I felt her fear. I felt her excitement. And I swear, I got the shivers during the water scenes. When the lights in the theater came back on...I was still crying and trying to get myself under control. Who wants people in a movie theater to know you were crying? Well, I wasnt the only one. Every person in that theater had red eyes and puffy cheeks. And we all felt a comrade ship. We had just survived the sinking of the Titanic together.

The second time I saw it, I was bracing myself. Two girls, who I didnt know where sitting near me. And we kept saying to each other, "Here it comes!"..."He's gonna die"..."I cant watch". We ended up sobbing on each others shoulders. I still dont know there names, and I couldnt pick them out of a crowd, but they were on that emotional ride with me. And I was glad!

I still cry when I see certain parts of the video. My entire household hushes up when the song comes on the radio. And my sisters and I yelled at the TV during the Grammy Awards when Kate Winslet, Gloria Stuart and Leonardo Dicaprio didnt win. And i'll buy the movie when it comes out. I'm in love with the ship!!! In love with the story!!! In love with the tragedy of the TITANIC!!!
