Story comments: I really just perused your site but am impressed. I minored in Astronomy at Sonoma State University and spent many hours doing astrophotography. We didn't have the nice high speed films available today and I remember 4 hour exposures pushing tri-x 400 to 800 ASA. Good luck on your endeavors!!
