Running in the Sky
Summertime morning, refreshes, renews
Water droplets poised on leaflets, kissed by the sweet morning dew
Mist hangs heavily in the warm humid air
Natures sweet serenity unfolds on display without any cares
Cloudless day, orange sunburst before me lies
Oh how wish, I could run in the sky
To play among the heavens and greet each day
With reckless abandon, come what may
Carried upon the jet stream winds
Flows like a river over my body, absolves me from sins
Even if just for a moment, to experience the flight
that will carry me home, on the wings of the night
to rise above the land, bid it a sweet goodbye
to follow my dream, of running in the sky
