Sleeping Child

Sleeping child peaceful and serene I have often wondered, what it is you dream Sweet innocence covers thy face In perfect harmony, under God's warm embrace Running my fingers through your blond curly hair Secure in this world, without any cares A smile does emerge, as i watch carefully What vision is playing, that springs forth such glee Only God knows, what enters your mind For the answers i seek, I know i wont find So I sit and I watch, pride bursting at the seams Smile silently, and wonder, what my sleeping child dreams
