My Educations
After having finished my baccalaureate from Chu Van An Secondary School (also known as Albert Sarraux Lycees during French's time), I have got a Czechoslovakia's government Scholarship for my undergraduate studies at Slovak University of Technology (SUT) (Slovenska' Vysoka' Skola Technicka' (SVST) in Slovak language) in Bratislava, now is Capital of Slovak Republic.
In Slovakia, I had spent a year to study Slovak language and then continued my Mechanical Engineering courses for 4 years. There I had successfully graduated with excellent records and granted a Red Diploma and awarded the SUT Director's Prize, the most prestige Prize for all STU graduates.
After working in VN for almost 5 years, I was back to Uni. again and this time is the Master of Engineering Course at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), the unforgettable place of my whole life. Why ? Because AIT is very well known for extremely tough studies among Asian students and where I had experienced my toughest student's life. The most common student's life activities at AIT campus are wondering to and from several places like bed room, study room, PC center, Library, Cafeteria and of course Papa's shope, a small and only pub located just outside the gate of the AIT. This shope is open all the time and if it's closed sometime because it's too late (around 2-3 am) you still can wake Papa up, an old man and owner of the shope, to get something to eat or drink. That's pub is the most favourite place for all AIT's students including me too.
The longer journey of my education was doing a PhD at Department of Mechanical Engineering, The University of Adelaide in South Australia. During this time, I had enjoyed the very best days of my student's life with activities such as doing computer simulations, experiments, part time tutorings, seminars, going for many conferences (in Wollongong, Sydney, Melbourne and Cocoa beach Florida), attending Churches meetings, playing soccer every week etc. After had been living in Adelaide for almost 6 years, it became one of my most favorable place of all, not just because I'd been there for quite a long time, but because of many special experiences in my life eg. my daughter Anna Minh Trang was born there and she is a real God's blessing to me and my family.
That's all about my formal education. However, my self-education is still continuing in many aspects of my life and I believe that it'll never stop. How about yours ? Share your student's life experience with me do you ?
