Welcome to Page 2 of the June & July update
2 cats, 1 blue and 1 I believe is a channel, both over 20 lbs taken on (yep shad heads again)It's not dark in this photo, but we are sitting under a bluff and pictures just don't take well there. This is the deepest water in the river that I know of, some marked at 92 feet. Lots of giant boulders, forming ledges in deep water, (perfect habitat for catfish.)
Allow me to introduce my wife Karen, pictured here with a 13 lb blue.
Karen again with a 24 lb bluecat, again on shad heads. She out fished me this day by 6lbs.
Some more blues here, not sure of the weight but am sure of the bait! hahaha

Myself with an 11 lb blue, Karen with a 13 lb and a 10lb blue, again in this stained water we caught 90% of our fish this summer by using shad heads taken from live shad--we tried using heads from fresh but dead bait and had no takes.
