Due to popular demand, the December 2nd Willamette High School Wolverine

Invitational will include a separate pattern for policy debate. There will

novice and open divisions, and awards will be given out for first through

third in each. Entries will be limited to three teams per division per

school. Furthermore, because of time constraints and pattern conflicts,

students entering policy debate at the Wolverine Invitational will not be

allowed to enter any other event. In essence, this is a separate tournament.

Students entered in conflicting events will have their entries disregarded

in those other events. Please make students aware of this. Also, any coach

entering policy teams MUST be available to judge policy rounds.

Schedule:

8:00am ..........Round 1

10:00am.........Round 2

12:00am.........Round 3

3:00pm...........Round 4

ASAP...........Finals (if needed)

Awards with the rest of the tournament.

Coaches: Please let us know as soon as possible if you intend to bring

policy debaters, so we know how many rooms we'll need for this portion of

the tournament. It's a bit nerve-wracking adding a major event like this so

close to the date of the tournament. You can help allay our fears about

rooms by letting us know of your interest (or lack thereof). Also, let us

know how many teams you plan to bring (a rough estimate is fine; we just

want some kind of a picture of what to expect).
