but longer than with most
i wish you understood my intentions
i mean how i really feel
cause there is so much i want to share with you
and only so much you want me to give
it saddens me to think 
that all i gave to you was a waste
and it saddens me to think
that i am still willing to wait
for something you don't even want
and something i will never get
i feel like i lost a lot
of which i guess i never had
according to you 
we were never more than "friends"
and i don't know about you
but i don't feel this close to my friends
i don't feel this far from my friends
you tell me you would like to explore
yet it isn't me there with you
i understand you want to be free
i just want you to be happy
but i don't want to be led on
so if you really want me
then tell me how good it'll be
because i already think i know 
how good would be to be yours
