One of the quickest bowlers of his time. Fazal Mahmood was one
of the first genuine Fast Bowlers from Pakistan. He made his
Test Tebut for Pakistan, aginst India at Delhi in 1952/53.
In a career spanning 34 Test Matches, Fazal picked up 139 wickets
at an average of 24.70 and a best of 7 for 42. His performances
earned him the distinction of being named the Wisden Cricketer of
the year for 1955.
