Clockwise from upper left:

The Centrum. This is your introduction to the Sovereign of the Seas when boarding, and the heart of the ship. Sovereign was the ship that started the grand atrium trend, and, still has one of the nicest. This is the gathering spot for before dinner music and dancing, the dining rooms being located adjacent to the Centrum.

The shops of Centrum. Designed just like a shopping mall at home..except…floating!!

The Touch of Class Champagne Bar. A quiet spot for a taste of the bubbly before dinner.

Finian's Rainbow Lounge. This is the lounge used for Wine Tasting and quiet, after dinner dancing.

The Library. A nicely furnished spot to quietly read a book or view the ocean. Unlike some self proclaimed “upscale” ships, this one was NOT furnished by Ikea!!

Clockwise, from top right:

The outdoor promenade. Completely circles the ship with a nicely padded and slip resistant covering. Sure, it isn’t the traditional teak planking. But, then again, this isn’t slippery!!

The twin pool area. The deck extends out from both sides of ship making this area more spacious than similar areas on other ships.

Follies Lounge. The main showroom. With a real stage, and able to accommodate complex set designs. There are few bad seats in this house!

The Schooner Piano Bar. The perfect meeting place during the day and a lively after dinner night spot.

The Casino Royale. It’s gaudy…but, it’s a casino after all. It should be! There are stools by each slot machine, a minor point until you sail on a poorly designed ship, like Celebrity’s Century, which doesn’t have them. Gambling age is 18!
