Mr. Oostdam,
Thank you for your inquiry concerning the Department's web site.
The information which you have found on the DEP web site is what we
currently have available for A&M Composting/J.P. Mascaro & Sons in our
agency's eFACTS system. As you query and search for data by client or
facility on our web site, you cannot create any reports that you could
manipulate or summarize on the web. As a future enhancement, our agency is
considering additional tools that would allow for special or individually
designed reports.
The specifics on data such as metals concentrations, quantities of
sludge, and usage you mentioned in your email is not information we capture
in eFACTS at this time. DEP is currently developing, in cooperation with
EPA, a biosolids data management system designed for electronic data
submission to obtain and summarize this type of information. Summary
information from the database will then be available through our web site.
Another option for obtaining public information is to conduct a file
review at the regional office that has oversight for the regulated facility.
This information includes analytical data, inspections, complaints,
violations and any legal actions taken by the Department. For A&M
Composting/J.P. Mascaro & Sons, contact the Southcentral Regional Office
(717-705-4700) if you are interested in scheduling a file review.
Please contact me if I you need further assistance.
