CHAPTER SEVEN

Then God said to Noah, "Go into the ark, you and all those in your house; for you alone in this generation have I found just - - - your wife and your sons and their spouse. Of all clean animals take with you of a male and its mate, seven pair, and two pair of the mates of those unclean, and seven each of the birds of the air that they may raise offspring over the earth. For after seven days, I will send rain on the earth for forty days and nights till all living things end." Noah did all God had commanded. And every living thing on earth was wiped out, man to beast, from the reptile to the birds of the air, from the greatest to the least were wiped from the earth. Only Noah and those with him were left. They were safe in the ark. The waters rose on earth one hundred fifty days. Continue
