HELLION: NIGHTMARES IN DAYLIGHT

NIGHTMARES IN DAYLIGHT

NIGHTMARES IN DAYLIGHT, a single, was released by MYSTIC RECORDS (Hollywood, CA) after HELLION had already begun to have their first success. By this time, Hellion had already received substantial media coverage throughout the USA and especially in the UK and photos of ANN BOLEYN were featured on several magazine covers. The song, NIGHTMARES IN DAYLIGHT, was one of four that were featured on the very first demo by HELLION (recorded at THE ANNIE-VILLE HORROR HOUSE in Tujunga, CA). The band recorded KNIGHTMARES IN DAYLIGHT, along with two others again on January 31, 1982 at MYSTIC RECORDING STUDIOS. The version which was recorded at MYSTIC is the one featured on this single. (For more information about that recording session, please visit the DRIVING HARD/BLACK KNIGHTpage in the Hellion Discography.)

DOUG MOODY, the president of MYSTIC RECORDS, originally planned to use KNIGHTMARES IN DAYLIGHT on an album entitled THE SOUND OF HOLLYWOOD GIRLS. Most all of the bands on that album perform the traditional punk style...except for HELLION and BITCH. Since both bands, HELLION and BITCH, had vastly different audiences, many which disliked one another, Doug Moody decided to release one track from each band on the same record!

This single is HIGHLY COLLECTABLE. If anyone has a copy, please sign the guestbook, and let us know how much you want for it. Either a Hellion ban member, or one of the fans will most certainly be interested!
