At 9:18am Gretchen gave birth to our baby girl: Tiffany Nichole McGill, 9lbs 7ozs, 21 1/2 ins. She has hair just like her daddy.
DECEMBER 9, 1998
Gretchen and I took to the road today. We went to Lexington, KY to catch a concert. I don't know why, but KISS was in concert there instead of Louisville. We got there early and had dinner before hand. Wish we had thought to go out with some friends there. Anyway, the food was good. The drive was nice. And the concert was great.
NOVEMBER 30, 1998
I learned my uncle Rufus had passed away. Rufus had been there for me as I was growing up without a father. He taught me alot. We were very close. I wish I had spent more time with him recently.
NOVEMBER 26, 1998
Thanksgiving Day! We loaded everybody, (Gretchen, her Mom & Dad, and Myself), into the van. We drove into town to have lunch with the family. I'd met most of these people at Easter and at our wedding. Still, I felt like I was meeting them for the first time.
NOVEMBER 6,1998
The biggest thing happening in our house is my wife's pregnancy. She's about three months along. Because she has gotten big so fast she is afraid that it might be twins. Triplets run in her family, so everyone jokes that it could be triplets. That thought really scares her. We went to the doctor the other day and heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time. It was truely wonderful! The doctor said you can't tell by a heartbeat how many are there. We just have to wait for for a sonagram to be sure.
OCTOBER 31, 1998
Halloween night we held a party. It was a small party with some friends. Several of them wore costumes. We ate & drank, and then we played a great game of Win, Lose or Draw. I was dressed as death, and enjoyed scaring the trick or treaters.
