Welcome dear friends. My name is John McGill. I’m thirty something going on sixteen. I was born and raised a Navy brat in Millington, Tn. My alma mater is the University of Mississippi, otherwise known as Ole Miss. I ended up with a Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business. Currently I live in Louisville, Ky, where I was married August 1st, 1998.

When I lived in the Memphis area I became involved in science fiction fandom. I joined the local SF club, as well as the local Starfleet chapter, the USS Alacrity. Eventually, I became more and more involved in Starfleet at a regional level. It was in Gatlinburg, Tn at a Region 1 Summit where I met my current wife.

Since I’ve moved to Louisville, and in with Gretchen and her son, Charles, my life has changed considerably, and all for the better. The three of us live in our new home, a beautiful brick house which just happens to be positioned behind Gretchen’s parents home. After our wedding Gretchen and I took a cruise on the caribbean, visiting Mexico, Jamaica, Haiti and the Grand Caymens. We’ve also visited the Mississippi Gulf Coast and New Orleans. Most recently we have the additional pleasure in our life, of Gretchen being Pregnant. Check out the What’s New page to learn any further developments.
