The picturesque 15th century Fleet Inn enjoys a truly idyllic location on the banks of the river Avon. A favorite stopping place for me when travelling back home via the M50 motorway. The kids love the pets corner. I just like to watch the water and the boats. Linda loves the bacon baguettes.
The ancient village of TWYNING, referred to in the Doomsday Book, is situated some two and a half miles from Tewkesbury in the delightful Gloucestershire countryside, close to the famous Cotswold Tourist Region - Shakespeare's Country. A massive London Plane tree stands majestically on the village green, bordered by The Village Inn, the old school house, shop, and a number of fine Tudor dwellings.
