Paul's Pub Crawl - The Hope and Anchor
The Hope and Anchor pub on the riverside at the horseshoe bend at Ross on Wye, Herefordshire was taken over by Bank's brewery much to disapointment of the teatime drinking crowd who moved with the barmaid to the Riverside pub.
Best enjoyed during the week at lunchtimes on a warm and sunny day - watching the tide going out for ever.
At present the council workers - now thats a contradiction in terms - are slowly creating a tarmac footpath alongside the river - preventing access to the landing stage for feeding the ducks and swans.
And there's more
