Many years ago we used to pick up the odd beer mat from pubs that we visited. Eventually there was enough to decorate the staircase in the house that we owned at the time. The staircase became the main selling feature of the house when we moved on and sold it. I have decided to start an Internet beer mat collection although I know it will not be as pleasurable as obtaining my original collection.

My favourite beer mat at that time was Samuel Smiths Yorkshire Rose. I have not managed to find it yet on the Internet.
