To prevent fraud, we need the following information:
1) Your name
2) Your address
3) Your phone number and times you are available, if needed
4) Your e-mail address
5) Business name and address if different from above
6) Proposed text of ad
7) Your web address if your site is related to ad. This can make
it easier for us to evaluate the legitimacy of the ad and/or product.
In some cases, we may ask to see a sample of the item. Websites
find this necessary because we receive offers for highly offensive
items "disguised" as outwardly inoffensive materials. So we have
to be extra-cautious. Please understand this caution benefits you
too; you wouldn't want your ad to appear along side one promoting
bigotry or a criminal offer.
If the ad is deemed suitable, we will notify you and provide the
cost for running the ad. If we can edit it down to save you money, we
will seek your approval for any changes. You may pay by check or by
money order. We expect to offer PayPal payment soon as well.
Placing an ad with us constitutes acceptance of our ad policies as
stated on our Classified Ads page. If you have not already read these,
please take a moment to do so before submitting any ad.

To guarantee an ad runs by 1st of the month, payment must be received
by 10th of the preceding month. Generally, we put up the ad as
soon as check clears. So you may receive a few extra free days
if this occurs prior to the 1st of the month.
Note: PART OF A LINE IS BILLED AS A FULL LINE. So be sure to edit
your text as tightly as possible. We are happy to help you do
this. Feel free to submit a "rough" draft for us to edit down.
Pictures, hot-links, and display or animated ads are now being allowed
on our site, but we reserve the right to reject any ad which may have
a negative visual or software impact on the page in question.
HITS: This site was launched on July 12, 1998. At that time, the
hit rate was about 50/week. By the spring of 2001, the hit rate had
topped 2,000/week, and it continues to grow, and is currently around
a third of a million page views per year. That's a growth rate
of roughly 50% every two years. By 2011, we now expect half a million
page views per year.
Various pages in this website rank in the top ten on Lycos, Google,
and other search engines for various terms related to our content.
We will consider placing ads on most pages in the links sections, but
we are avoiding adding top-of-the-page ads because this site is meant
to inform, not generate ad revenues. Preference is given to ads that
enhance that mission. No agencies. Principals only.
MAX OUT YOUR IMPACT: If we find your ad-link especially informative
for our visitors, we will consider bulk-rate pricing in which we will
place your ad on multiple high-hit pages in the links sections.
