N.I.Ts - the Network of International Tapetraders, is, basically, a small group of people from around the world who have got together to exchange tapes of DIY punk recordings. Quite simply it's just a matter of regularly e-mail each other, letting everyone know what's going on in their local scene, and getting each others home addresses so that we can exchange tapes of punk music by post. This is a great way to find out about new bands, get hold of hard to find recordings, or just to get great music from around the world (for the price of a stamp). As we all try to operate on a tape - for - tape system it means that nobody loses out (except for the nominal price of postage) and yet gets new music on a regular basis! Listed opposite are the e-mail addresses and locations of the people in the group so far. Any of these people would be happy to hear from you if you are interested in exchanging tapes. Whether you want to exchange with people near or far the choice is yours! a variey of musical tastes (although punk all the way) can be catered for, including Oi!, Anarcho, local DIY, overseas DIY, '77 style, Old School, New School, Ska, Crust, Electro-industial-experimental-emo-sxe-veggie-discore-hardcore-commu-collective-punk! whatever you like there is sure to be someone who can help!
