More detailed Data from Zonal Spectrophotometry

of Jupiter in 1997

We can see here a collection of zonal profiles of central depths for four methane absorption bands at wavelengths 887 (red), 724 (blue), 798 (magenta), and 619 nm (brown). There are shown also the brightness profiles at wavelengths 750 nm (in continuum) and 887 nm (in the center of strong CH4 absorption band). The numbers of zones corresponds to successive positions of the spectrograph slit on Jupiter's disk from the North pole to South pole.
