History and Personality:

Terra was born to unnamed parents in India. Both of her parents died when she was three, from a strange disease. After that she went to live with her globe trotting Uncle Hank and has lived many places in the world. Every place Terra lived before Japan had a deteriorating effect on her health. Since she moved to Tokyo her frail health has improved a great deal.

As Sailor Ceres Terra is wise and level headed. She is certainly not the most powerful of senshi. Her first attack beats out even Mercury Bubbles for it's lack of offensive use. Despite this Terra fights on gamely. As a senshi she needs a group (or David) around to help protect her, otherwise she's easy prey.

Terra likes being Sailor Ceres, despite the danger it puts her in. She wouldn't trade her memories for anything (unlike the other senshi Terra has bits and pieces of her memory from the Silver Millenium left).

Terra is very intelligent. Someone once called her 'the second brain of the group.' However unlike Ami, Terra does not study hour after hour unless she really happens to love the subject.

Terra has a quirky sense of humor that seems to manifest itself at strange times. She also has a tendency to put her own duty before her safety or her happiness, which can hurt other people.

During the Silver Millenium, Terra was princess of the planet Ceres. Ceres was a tiny energy rich world between Mars and Jupiter. Although Ceres was a member of the Silver Alliance of the Moon when Terra was born, the High Queen of Ceres, Iris, soon withdrew them. Thus Terra grew up on a planet that was completely blockaded from the other planets in the solar system, especially the Moon.

Because of this Iris forbade Terra from training to be a senshi, so for years Terra went untaught as Iris the Mad unleashed her sadistic will on Ceres. When Terra reached her 17 year a particular incident broke the camel's back and Terra rebelled against her mother. Her mother ordered Terra imprisoned in the tower along with her loyal guardian cat, Celeus. However, with some help Terra managed to escape and was spirited far away from the wrath of Iris.

Two years passed and Terra trained in secret. Little did she know that an evil had infiltrated the court of Ceres. A Dark Kingdom General named Naverght killed the Queen and took her crystal of power, the Ceres Emerald Jadestone.

Terra sensed this change of power immediately and set out to stop the General immediately. Naverght, intent on attaining the power of the crystal no matter the cost, went to the high temple of Ceres. Sailor Ceres met him there, and they found that in that sacred place her powers equaled his and they came to a stalemate.

Unfortunately for Sailor Ceres, Naverght had an underling that managed to release the power of the Jadestone while Naverght and Ceres fought. The power from the misuse of the Jadestone was so powerful it ripped the planet Ceres apart.

Terra and Celeus were reincarnated in the future, he says due to a rip in space-time due to the huge explosion. Terra is not so sure . . .
