Hi. Right about now, if you're as impatient as I, you're wondering, "Okay, where's the stuff about Jack the Ripper that led me here?" All in good time. True, I've written a Jack the Ripper novel called OUT OF TIME, which was represented by literary agent extraordinaire Kimberley Cameron of Reece Halsey, who thought that it was the greatest first novel she'd ever read since she lost John Gilstrap's NATHAN'S RUN. Alas, Kate Miciak of Bantam, Bob Mecoy of Simon & Schuster, Jamie Raab of Warner, and other luminaries of the publishing industry didn't quite reciprocate her enthusiasm so the book more or less remains in mothballs to this day.

However, when I first opened this website over two years ago (around October/November 1997), I'd started out with only a few pages and I've written a lot of stuff since then. If you look at the excerpts below, you'll see that I don't write all science fiction, or even fiction.

I'd started out writing poetry at the relatively tender age of 18 while still a high school senior. Naturally, as one would expect, these poems will never see the light of day even under penalty of death. Poetry may have been my first love but satire is the sharp-tongued shrew with whom I've been entranced ever since I was a child. I've always felt that bitter old bastards like Juvenal, Jonathan Swift, Mark Twain, and Ambrose Bierce would've been great guys to bend elbows with at an Irish pub. I have endeavored to follow in their footsteps, stepping on as many necks as possible in my misanthropic journeys. I think I've been successful, to some piddling degree- Since 1984 my byline has been in print, with more poetry and satire forthcoming well into the year 2000.

I think that it's only fair and gracious to tell you all that this page is made possible through the unbelievable generosity of the friendly folk at Tripod, who give anyone who registers, free of charge, 11 megs of disk drive space toward their own home page. For you computer newbies out there, that's the equivalent of about 10-12 average-length novels.

For those of you who are into The Blair Witch Project, I've written and posted the only piece of fanfic that I'll ever write in my life. Generally, I'm opposed to fanfic, but in the case of Rustin Parr, I couldn't resist. I think that Parr should've been given more elbow room in the movie, so I thought that I'd expand upon his character and tell that part of the Blair Witch story in his perspective.

That said, let's get on with the links and thanks for visiting.

This is neither my work nor a real link, but I have a special page here for the coolest gifs and jpegs that I've found on the Internet. You'll see some of them on my pages.

Live spycam that I'd set up in my ex wife's bathroom mirror. As you can see, she's a bit rouge-happy.

Enjoy! Let me know what you think. My email address is Crawman2@Juno.com
