Upon your arrival, and during your
vacation or holiday in Central Florida, you

SHUTTLE
One of your options would be that of taking the SHUTTLE to your hotel/resort from the airport, bus terminal or train station, as well as to and from your hotel/resort and the attractions, but there are a few drawbacks: If there are more than three people in your family or group, taking a shuttle will actually cost you MORE than taking a taxicab! Be prepared for a looooong ride! Remember, the shuttle van or bus will be stopping at many hotels along the way! Being jammed into a van or bus with up to seventy other travelers is not exactly the most comfortable way to travel! After your trip to your hometown airport, waiting for the airplane to depart, experiencing any layovers, hours riding in the airplane, landing in Florida, and then waiting for your luggage, or walking around and standing in line all day at the attractions, do you really want to WAIT for the next available shuttle?
AUTOMOBILE or VAN RENTAL
How about AUTOMOBILE or VAN RENTALS? Most of the major automobile and van rental agencies have representatives at the airport to greet you; however, most DO NOT store their vehicles at the airport! This means you must load your luggage onto a bus, ride to the rental agency, unload your luggage from the bus, stand in line, load your luggage into your rented car or van and then HOPE you can navigate your own way to your hotel/resort! And the COST! Renting your vehicle at the airport costs MORE than renting elsewhere! Then there's INSURANCE, which, many times, EXCEEDS the basic rate of the vehicle you are renting! Gasoline ($$$$$) ... Parking (almost ALL Parks/Attractions charge guests for parking) ... Traffic Fines (driving in unfamiliar areas or in a foreign country can easily result in violations of local traffic laws) ... Becoming LOST in unfamiliar areas ... Walking or riding a trollytrain back to your parked vehicle and then driving to the hotel/resort after walking and standing around all day in the attractions ... the list of negatives is quite a long one!
