Courage

Nothing prevents love knowing itself.
Love is beamed unconscious by shy eyes,
Thwarting the most damaged of hearts,
even conquering the most frightened of souls.

Love itself will not be thwarted, crushed, or hid.
Love lives with you, yet takes hold of its own.
Love dances in secret pockets of the mind,
a merry jig of celebration, upon the unsuspecting.

Love always seeks to find soul's counterpart.
Hermetically counting passers; dismissed.
Not that passers lack, or are not valued.
They just don't speak the same soul language.

Love knows in an instant soul's spirit match.
Though time steps slow, to admit the moment.
Bet even if a lifetime should pass hungered.
Eternity sanctions love's wait as worthwhile.
