Wonders

Everyones pal - silly palooka; has an obsession with conquering fears.
But, fears she invents to conquer are bringing laughters tears.
Her initual terror of spiders, that created an undefinable dread,
were mastered in grinning discovery of a mouse on the world wide web.

Here she met an adventurous man who bravely invited her on a ski trip.
Her fear of deep water ebbed as they elected her spotter; a Freudian slip?
She sank a trick skier; unroped a barefooter; flipped a driver oberboard.
Now she's cured through rash bravado, proving she's not to be ignored.

Deep water to dizzy heights - she progressed - look out city of light!
She joined a paraflying club of youths; this 40 year old has fight.
On her maiden solo she was stunned, by a beach bums nude starkness -
crashing thru' telgraph wires, the district was plunged in darkness.

Mind you - landing impromptu as it was, cured her fear of snakes.
The nude negro had a tattoed python - observed in a second take.
'Give me some skin' he said. She did, she kneed his trouser snake.
A new fear conquered; he was making friends - not on 'the make'.

Did someone mention, fear of crowds, she's joined an expedition.
As anchor woman - 200km, over 14 days. Oh! my intuition.
"30 missing white water rafting; 29 found drenched to the bone."
They escaped! Did I mention - she also has fear of being alone:

God help us, she's off! List in hand, a veritable endless onslaught.
'Mrs Magoo' - a trail of bodies & debris, really counts for naught.
On the web her exploits sound brave; she sounds like 'wonder woman'.
I can attest to the truth, 'One wonders, is she really blunder woman'?
