All About CleMenTe

So you really wanna know all about me hunh? Well I'm a let you know right here and right now!!! You should know by now that I am a Producer/Emcee, but now I'm a let you know about how I got into it all. At 12 years old I was inspired by my brother and an emcee named Rakim who did a song called: Follow The Leader. When I first heard that song, that is when I wanted to be an emcee!!! I've been rhyming for 13 years and producing for 7. My favorite artists of all time are Rakim (of course), Kool G. Rap and Biggie Smalls(R.I.P.). I work as a part time music producer until I can get my foot into the door. Just to let you all know, everything I have ever created has gotten love from a lot of people.

I was born and raised in Flatbush, Brooklyn, NY for 11 years, I've lived in South Side, Queens, NY for 12 years and Bergen County, New Jersey for the past 2 years. I am 25 years old and have lived a hellish life. I've been through more than most people have at the age of 50 have been through. I graduated high school on time surprisingly and all the hell that I've been through at that point disappeared. But then a new hell began.

I went to college for a year to learn how to be an engineer, but money situations kept me from pursuing that aspect of my dreams. But I continued to strive for my rhyming career. And in 1995 I finally did my first real show at Orchard Beach in the Bronx. I got mad love and there were celebrities there such as The Fugees, Fat Joe and Red Hot Lover Tone. After the show the record company I was supposed to sign with went bankrupt and I lost my chance at a contract. I did miscillaneous underground shows, open mics and parties after that but it wasn't good enough.

After all that I starting bumming it for the next 2 years. I lost my enthusiasm and started pulling scams with friends to make ends meet. Then something dramatic happened in 1997 to me. My father passed and I was left alone. My mother lives in Jersey and I was working out in Brooklyn so I didn't feel like that long commute to work. But my father's passing caused me to look deeper into my soul and at my life and see where I was at. I came to the conclusion that I have talents and I know that I can make good use of them. So at that point I dedicated the rest of my life to striving to live the life my father tried so hard to give me. I guess my life could be used as an example. Whatever happens, if you have dreams, never give up on making those dreams come true. You owe it to yourself. Never let anyone or anything discourage you. Do what you gotta do. Take it from me, if you don't you'll regret it.

I dedicate my life and everything I do, except my bad habits, to the one person who helped me become a man and told me to follow my dreams: Henry Soto Sr. (my father). You've helped me through a lot even though you were only there for half my life. I will always keep your memory deep within my heart. I LOVE YOU.
