Deadly Alliances

Rumors have been floating around about three deadly Night Worlders. As far as this reporter can tell, this trio has been seen together on many occasions, and given who they are it only adds up to one thing: trouble. That isn't to be doubted in my opinion. However, what does remain a question is who their alliance is trouble to. Have they joined forces to attack a weakened Daybreak, who still has yet to regain its missing Wild Power. Or is it instead, impending disaster for the Night World Council?

The trio has been stated to be: the ancient vampire Akasha - who is well known through the 'fairy' tales told about her for many thousands of years. Much included in those stories is thought to be true by those who survive an encounter with her. Just how much truth there is, I fear, will become evident in the coming times.

Also said to be a part of this allegiance is Leandra Hardy, a shapeshifter who openly is known to consider Daybreakers right along side humans, often using the word 'scum' to describe both. This Lioness is also known to detest vampires. Why then has she allied herself with one of the most powerful vampires in existence? To this humble reporter, it would seem more likely for her to attempt a staking. Perhaps Akasha better keep her eyes on this one. Though if my sources are correct, that's not necessary for a very good reason.

Last, but not least to be feared, is Gil Aggabal - a werewolf who has proven to be more than a little unstable mentally. A well known assassin, for a price, his place in this is most unusual. My sources have often described him as being a loner, as well as a vicious killer who needs little reason to send someone to their maker. So why then would he consent to be a part of this unholy alliance?

I don't know, folks, but this I pledge, if the answer is out there to be had - I will track it down.
