Catalyst of the Apocalypse

She is aged and wise but Akasha is no crone (no offense to witches). Her knowledge of the world is expansive and she’s using it. Akasha is infamous for the cruel things that she’s inflicted on both the human and night world race. Circle Daybreak and even the Council have searched for her endlessly and she always manages to slip through their fingers. She is ruthless, heartless, possibly soulless and the fact that her soulmate is dead doesn’t make anything better.

And she’s cookin’ up a storm. Literally.

Many people, now, have heard about the apocalypse, about the prophecies, about the Wild Powers and about how three of the Wild Powers have been found. It is largely known, now, that if one Wild Power is lost, then so is everything else. Hope, the world, everything.

And now one Wild Power is missing.

There is no guessing of what Akasha will do to keep herself amused. A thousand centuries is a long time and it gets boring after a while. An apocalypse in between might be interesting.

Akasha was heard arguing with the head of Circle Daybreak, Hannah Snow, recently. Akasha hinted loudly that Jez, who is supposedly being held captive by the vampire, would be killed sometime soon and that there was no point in trying to keep the apocalypse at bay. Hannah handled the argument calmly and Akasha departed, leaving a silver dagger with blood and hair on it on the ground. Raksha Keller ran tests on the evidence and they proved to be Ms. Redfern’s blood and hair.

Circle Daybreak fear for the worst but sit tight, waiting to see what Akasha’s next move will be.
