Who Am I?
I am a rolling stone that gathers no moss. Up until recently I lived on the beautiful island of St. Lucia - The Helen of the West - in the blue Caribbean Sea. I'm just a bit over 31 and I worked as Technical Officer (Engineering) at The Caribbean Environmental Health Institute. I was there for two years and 9 months. Update on my next place of abode will be coming soon. I enjoy scuba diving with my friends, or just lazing around on the beach, on hot sunny days. I'm also a self-confessed bookworm, and will most often be found with my nose buried into some book or other (when I'm not surfing or on ICQ!!). I also like to collect qoutations and saying. I was born in Grenada, another of our beautiful islands, but my family moved to Barbados in 1981. I have one sister, Vernell, who lives in New Bedford Massachusetts with her fiance Sheldon. They just both completed their MBA and live happily with their crazy cat Jessie (she's really a sweetie). And as soon as she does something proper with her homepage, I'll put a link to it on here!!!!(Vernell that is. As smart as Jessie is she deosn't have a homepage yet!) Visit my photo gallery and see the many faces of Francine (and friends and family) Both my parents are teachers - so you can imagine what growing up was like. I always had my homework done.I studied Engineering at the University of the West Indies in St. Augustine Trinidad, which was great because I got to take part in Carnival every year!! University was a great experience. I made a few close friends and got to meet people from all over the Caribbean.
My previous job was very rewarding. It's a good feeling knowing I can contribute to the development of the Caribbean region, plus I made some pretty good friends.
I am still learning how to build web pages....I just bought a pretty good book which I can't find at the moment because it's packed away somewhere. I find it rather challeging and quite a change from my job. I like solving problems, guess it's my Engineering background. At first this page was really DULL,(it isn't still is it?:-() but I keep trying at it
and it's getting better, so come back often to see the changes, I have great plans!!
