1 A Story that I dont know what to name(sorry you have to scroll over so much) "Hi Mary, do ya wanna spend the night tonight?" "Hi, sure, but It’ll take me awhile to pack my things" "OK" Heidi said "Oh yeah, I forgot to ask you if you wanted to go to Montana the day after tomarrow, we’ll be gone or about10 days, so, do you wanna come?" "Sure…wait, let me ask my mom first" ********************5min later************************* "Hi, sorry I took so long, I had to do some convincing" "Its A-OK, hang on a sec… "OK" Mary said as she reached for a pen, to work on her story about her fav band Hanson. "OK, Im back, My mom said Dani could come to, It can be like a psycho ZoNe camp out, o something, I also have a surprise for when we get there…" "OOOO what is it?! PLLEEEAAASSSEEE tell me" Mary begged "You’ll see when we get there" Heidi replied. "I gotta go pack now, see ya in 30 min, bye" "OK, I’m going to call Dani, Bye" Heidi said and hung up. *********************Heidi dialed Dani’s phone number********************** "Hi, is Dani there?" Heidi said to Danis little sister Holly. "Yup, hold on" Holly replied. ********A couple min later******** "Hello?" Dani said "Hi Dani, its me, Do you want to come camping in Montana with mw and Mary? We’ll be there for about 10 days" "it can be a Pysico thing" Heidi said In a sarcastic voice. "yeah, I have had SUCH a bored summer that this would be the most exciting thing on earth right now" Dani said and laughed. "Hang on let me go ask…" *******4 min later******** "YES! I CAN GO!" Dani said with excitement. "Oh GOOD" Heidi said in a freaky voice "Just kidding… well im glad you can go…but I was just kidding about the… OH never mind, you know what I mean…" Heidi said with a frustrated voice. "yeah"Dani said I know EXACTLY what you mean, Dani said n the same freaky voice, But she was kidding. "Come over now we’ll leave the day after tomorrow, but I just figure What the hell let them stay here 2 days before we leave, it’ll be fun" "Cool" Dani said "what are we going to do there?" 2 Well I planned a surprise for you and Mary, so you’ll see when we get there…" Heidi said in a teasing voice. "Oh PLEEEASE tell me! Dani whined "I PROMISE I wont tell Mary" "Nope you’ll have to wait, just like Mary" Heidi replied "Fine, I gotta go get ready, see you in 45min." OK, bye" Heidi said, and hung up. Heidi just sat there thinking about the wonderful surprise she had for her friends. Then after about ten minutes she got up and started packing for the trip now so that she didn’t have to pack when Dani and Mary were there. **************************20min passed (packing)******************** Then just as Heidi finished packing the door bell rang, It was Mary. "Hi Mary, now all we need is Dani" and just as Heidi said tha t Dani rung the doorbell nonstop until Heidi got to the door. As soon as she opened the door Dani ran in screaming and ran up to Heidi’s twin brother and kissed him on the nose. "EEEEW!" Alan shrieked and ran off. "uh oh" Heidi said to Mary "She’s become IT again!" Heidi said and they laughed…except Dani, she continued to scream and then she ran through the house kissing Heidi’s family. What’s up with her?" Mary said "I dont wanna know." "I’ll tell you what’s going on" Dani screamed in Mary’s ear " I drank 7 and a half Jolts and I am going to try and drink 7and a half Jolts every day we are away, what’d ya think was in this big o’l box?" Dani said as she dragged in a HUGE refrigerator box Filled with bottles of jolt. And sitting on top of the box was a walrus. "Ummm, Dani, did you know there was a walrus sitting on that box?" Mary said. "What?!" Dani said and saw the walrus. "Pinky, go home, go, get!" Dani yelled. "Sorry" she said, "that’s my pet walrus Pinky, he follows me everywhere. Obviously Dani started to calm down from the jolt…So Heidi and Mary thought. All of the sudden Dani jumped up (she was sitting down) and ran up the stairs and stood on the railing and jumped off and grabbed on to the small chandelier and sat on the top of it shouting "I AM SPARTACUS!" as loud as she could. Mary and Heidi tried to coax her down but she couldn’ t hear them over her own shouting. So they just gave up and went to Heidi’s room. Heidi’s room was a big fire hazard, There were Christmas lights strung up everywhere, a lava lamp, a disco light and A Coca-Cola sign on her wall, she also had a bunch of candles and incense’s burning, another thing was the hippie beads hanging in her doorway. Mary sat on Heidi’s bed and Heidi sat on her desk chair and spun herself around, grinning ear to ear. 3 "What are you grinning so devilishly about?" Mary asked laughing at Heidi. "Oh, nothing, I just cant wait till I see the look on your face when I show you your surprise" Heidi said excitedly "Well I cant wait to find out what it is!" Mary replied "Wait, its a good thing right? I mean will I like it?" "YES, you’ll LOVE it Im positive!" Heidi said excitedly. "Ok good" Mary said. Then just as she said that Dani ran in looking like a crazy women, she had chocolate syrup ALL over her and she had a ton of feathers stuck to her. "Heidi" She said "I think your parents just chocolate and feather me!" she said as she gasped in air. "Oh, sorry, its a superstition they have, its what your supposed to do to a crazy person, they must not have known you were my friend." "Oh yes they did, they kept saying "Heidi ALWAYS has the strange friends" Dani said mimicking my parents. "Weird," Heidi and Mary both said at the same time "Dani, I’ll let you barrow some of my clothes and you can take a shower" Heidi said as she got out some of her clothes, "Common, I’ll show you where the shower is" Heidi said, walking out of the room. Dani followed but quickly ran back and whispered to Mary "Her family is screwed up" "Uh, hunh, Mary replied" "COME ON DANI" Heidi yelled from the bathroom, and Dani ran out. When Heidi and Dani came back (Dani took a shower and Heidi had to have a talk with her parents) Mary was asleep, they both looked at the clock and it was 3:41 am, and they went to sleep. They woke up around 12:30 the next day, they were soooo tired that they just sat around and watched TV until 1am and figured that they’d better go to sleep since they had to get up at 9:00am. ***********************10:00am********************** "All packed and ready to go" said Heidi’s dad. "Everybody pile in!" The ride was VERY uncomfortable, since they had to squeeze 8 people in the van that the Widmaiers had. Heidi had three brothers Dan (16) Neil (15) and Alan (her twin brother, 13). Then there was Heidi, Mary and Dani (their all 13) It was a long5 hour drive from Seattle Washington to Montana, and it didnt help hen Dani got car sick and grabbed Mrs. Widmaiers hat and puked in it. ****************************5 hours later (3:00pm)**************************** "Were here!" cried Neil. "Finally" Dani grunted. "Heidi, you and your friends have a campsite across the campground, go walk there I’m busy!" She said angrily as se threw a couple sleeping bags and a tent at her. "Probably in a bad mood since her favorite hat is ruined" Heidi said. 4 "Lets go" said Mary enthusiastically. **********************After camp is set up (they had trouble with the tent so it took them awile***************************************************************** "Lets go look around" Mary said "OK" Heidi said and looked at her watch (it was 9:30) But we cant stay out too long, tomorrow we have to get up early to go to my surprise." Heidi said excitedly. ******************After exploring (nothing exciting found, as fun as dirt)******** "Well its 11:56, we should turn in, what time are we supposed to get up? Dani asked Heidi. "around 8:00" "OK, I cant wait!" All of them said. *****************The next morning 8:46************ "OK gals, ready to go?" Said Heidi’s mom, obviously in a better mood than yesterday. "Yup" they all replied. The whole ride there Mary and Dani kept wandering ‘where are we going…where are we going…where are we going…’ Soon they arrived at a television studio. "Why are we here?" Mary asked "Its your surprise…you’ll see the BEST part later" Heidi replied. They all piled out of the car and went up to the ticket booth, Heidi leaned over and whispered something to the usher, and then he opened the gate and let us in right away, the very first thing that Mary noticed was the name HANSON on a poster, she looked at the poster for awhile and them Said excitedly "Ohmigid Heidi!!!!!" "This is soooooo cool." Mary managed to say in her excitement, Mary was VERY excited because she has had the BIGGEST crush on Taylor Hanson for A LONG time. "I cant believe you got tickets to something like this, what row?!" she asked "Front row" Heidi said proudly "And there’s more, But that’ll be later" "What could be better than seeing Hanson?!" She said dreamily. "You’ll see" Heidi said. Then Heidi looked at Dani to see why she was so quiet, all of the sudden Dani screamed "I HATE HANSON IM LEAVING MONTANA!" "OK" both Mary and Heidi said Heidi’s mom dropped them off so Dani stomped off to take a bus back to Washington. "Come on Mary, lets go!" Heidi said, happy that she had impressed her friend. When they got inside they sat down and Heidi and Mary noticed Hanson on the side of the set, Heidi looked at them and waved and they waved back like they were old friends. 5 Five min later the show started, Mary and Heidi didnt know what the show was called since they didnt have the same talk shows in Washington, All they knew was that Hanson was on. After they show Mary was SO happy But also SO sad because they had to leave and she couldn’t sit with her mouth open and stare at Taylor. "I wish we didnt have to go" Mary said sadly. "we dont!" Heidi said as she pulled three backstage passes out of her pocket, she put Danny’s under her seat since she left. "I have backstage passes, But I dont want you to come, im gunna use yours for someone else" Heidi said, and Mary was about to scream with anger when Heidi said just in time" I WAS JUST KIDDING calm down." "GOD, Heidi, you scared me" Lets go. Heidi said and walked over to the backstage door. As Heidi approached the usher he said "I was told that there wernt any backstage passes available" Then Heidi Whispered something and the usher said " Oh well that’s an exception" and he opened the door. Mary wandered ‘what did she say…what did she say…what did she say…?’ But at that point it didnt matter, because in a matter of seconds her dream would come true, in seconds Hanson walked in, and said "Hey Heidi, I didnt know you were coming backstage "And who is this?" Taylor asked Obviously interested. "Oh yeah" Heidi said stupidly "This is my very best friend Mary Collins" "hhhhhi" Mary said, stunned. "Hi" they said as they introduced themselves. After a few minutes Mary calmed down and became more relaxed. And then she turned to Heidi and said "how do they know you…HOW do you know THEM?!" Their just old friends of mine," Heidi said. "Hey, do you guys wanna come down to our campsite and have smores?" Heidi asked. "sure they said." Just then Heidi noticed that Taylor always standing or sitting next to Mary. "Hey Taylor, come here" Heidi said. "OK, just a sec." He said and then walked over to Heidi. "Do you like Mary?" "In what way?" he asked "as in friends" Heidi said "Or more if you do" "I like Her a tad bit more than friends but not that much more" he said. "it wouldn’t work since she lives way far away" he said. ""If she knew that she would move in a instant" Heidi said half jokingly. Then they walked back and talk for awhile, then they all left for the campground (they took the bus) When they got there they had their smors, and talked some more. 6 Just when they were about to leave at about 1:00 am, Zac gave us an envelope and inside was 2 tickets to Oklahoma, and a note that said: Heidi and Mary: Come visit us next week, We’ll ask if you can stick abound for 2 weeks or so, see ya then! From: Zac, Tay, and Ike. CHAPTER 2 And with that, they left. "Ohmygod Heidi, I CANT believe all that just happened, and that we are going to their house next week!" Mary cried excitedly. "Did you like my surprise?" Heidi asked. 7 "Like it?!?! I loved it!" Mary said with a grin from ear to ear. "Good, now lets pack our stuff up, we’re leaving in about 2 hours," Heidi said. "leaving?! Already?! But we just got here." Mary said sadly. "Yup, we gotta go plan for our trip to Oklahoma" Heidi replied. ********************************about two hours later******************** "Let’s get outta here," said Dan, Heidi’s brother. "Yea!!!" cried everybody. "Oh yeah, hey mom, next Saturday, Mary and I are going to Oklahoma, OK?" "Yeah, sure, whatever, as long as your outta my hair." Heidi’s mom said. "As soon as you get home ask your mom, and then call me and tell me if its OK, ok?" Heidi said to Mary. "OK, I REALLY hope she says yes." For the rest of the ride home they talked about the things they would do when they were there. Heidi’s family didn’t even notice that Dani wasn’t there. Soon they were at Mary’s house so they dropped her off, and just before Mary slammed the door, Heidi yelled "Dot forget to ask your mom and call me!" "Dot worry, I DEFINATLY wont forget." "Good-BYE already" Heidi’s mom said, Obviously annoyed by their long goodbye. "Bye" Mary said and ran into her house. ********20 min after Heidi got to her house, and unpacked******** The phone rang and Heidi knowing it was Mary (Because she had ‘caller ID’ on the phone in her room) picked up the phone and said "Billy-rays pizza, may I take your order" Heidi said in a drunken voice. "Hi Heidi" Mary said sadly. Heidi could hear her slightly sobbing. "Mary, whats wrong?" Heidi asked. "My mom said I couldnt go!" Mary said, sobbing freely now. "OH NO! I dont want to go by myself" Heidi said "Hmmmm, WAIT, I have an idea, we are flying on the RED EYE, make sure your up at 12:30 amon Saturday, OK?" Heidi asked. "Ummm, OK" Mary said confused. "whats your idea?" "You’ll see, all you’ve gotta do is pack enough stuff for three weeks and be up at 12:30 on Saturday, ok?" Heidi asked. "OK, talk to ya later" Mary said and hung up. **************It is now 12:00 Saturday, their both packed*************** Heidi is on the phone with the shuttle express company and she just told them to be at Mary’s house at 12:45am (She told them her address)and hung up. 8 "Well, off I go" Heidi said to herself. "Bye mom, Bye dad, Bye Alan, Dan and Neil" Heidi said. "How are you going walk to Mary’s carrying all that luggage?" Heidi’s mom asked. "I’ll manage" Heidi replied, and left. It took Heidi Exactly 30 minutes to walk to Mary’s house. The shuttle was already there, she she threw her stugg in back. Since Mary’s room is in the basement, all Heidi had to do was open Mary’s window and climb in. "Hi Mary!" Heidi said, to half asleep Mary. "What? Oh hi, why did you come, I said I couldn’t go" Mary said groggily, forgetting hat Heidi had a plan. "You ARE coming, your sneaking out with me." Heidi said happily. "I am?! I mean, I am" Mary said correcting herself. "Come-on. I’ll help you with your luggage, mines already in the shuttle" Heidi said. "OK" Mary said as they both climbed out her window. ******************Heidi and Mary are both on the Plane**************** "Heidi, won’t my mom kinda notice that I’m gone?" Mary asked. "Nope, I left a note on your doorstep saying that I kidnapped you." Heidi said with a grin. "Really?!" Mary said laughing, just thinkig of the look on her moms face when she reads it. "Yup, I thought of everything, I am…what can I say…brilliant!" Heidi exclaimed. "You brilliant! Yeah right!" Mary said with a grin her face. "Ha Ha" Heidi said. A voice over the intercom said "Everybody fasten your seatbelts, we will be landing in 15 minutes." "Ummm, Heidi, how are we going to get to their house?" Mary asked. "I think they are picking us up or their sending someone." "O, OK" Mary said. *******************The plane lands********************* Heidi and Mary are walking down the corridor, when they spot Ike, Tay, and Zac. "Hey guys!" Heidi yells, then everyone getting off the plane stare at her angrily (they were all grumpy from the long flight there). "Oops" Heidi says and they both laugh. "Hi Mary" Tay says in a shy voice. "Hi" Mary says. "Let’s go get your luggage and get outta here." Ike says. ********************after they arrive at their house********************** "Here’s you girlie’s room, sorry you have to share" Mrs. Hanson says. "Thanx" Both Heidi and Mary say at the same time. 9 After Mrs. Hanson left to let them unpack, Tay, Ike and Zac all walk in to tell them that tomorrow they would show them the sites. "OK" Mary said. "But do we have to get up early?" Heidi asked, she HATED to get up early. "Sorta," said Zac, "around 9ish" "Oh, OK" BOTH MARY AND HEIDI SAID. "WELL, SEE YA LATER" TAY SAID LOOKING AT MARY. "YUP" *************************************9ISH THE NEXT MORN’N********************** "OK, ready to go?" Asked Ike. "Yeah" said everybody. "Come back by NooOOOooon!" yelled Mrs. Hanson from the Kitchen. "OK" On their tour they saw some malls and movie theaters, but of corse Mary was to busy staring at Tay to notice. "Well, anybody hungry?" asked Ike. "I’m STARVING!!!!" yelled Zac. "Me too" Heidi chimed in. "Mary?" asked Heidi. "Huh?, oh, yeah me to" said Mary dazed in her own world. "Where should we eat?" Ike said. "Denny’s!" Said Tay. "OK, Denny’s it is" *************after ordering and sitting down at a booth************* "OHMYGOD!" said Heidi in between bites of her burger. "What?" asked Mary. "LOOK," said Heidi pointing to a their friend Dani, dressed up as an old man. "What is SHE doing here?" asked Mary. "Let’s go ask her" said Heidi, as they got up and walked over to their friend. "Hi Dani," said Mary. "Why are you dressed up like an old man?" asked Heidi laughing. "Damn, they discovered me!" said Dani under her breath, "Uh, just playing a game, heh heh." "What are you doing in Oklahoma?" asked Mary. "Oh….nothing" said Dani with a smirk, and walked away. "Ummm, ok, I wonder if she’s been taking her medicine" said Mary laughing. "Are you two ready to go?" asked Tay. "YUP," said Mary. 10 "What are we doing now?" asked Heidi. "Well now we gotta go back home, because we have to go to a photo shoot. You two can do whatever you want." Said Ike while walking towards the car. ********************* after they got home ********************** "So what do YOU wanna do?" asked Heidi. "I dunno, we could go shopping or see a movie or something" "Let’s see a movie, what movie do you wanna see?" asked Heidi "How about…MIB!" Mary said. "Oh, no no no, not that movie AGAIN, you’ve seen that, What?!? 20 times!?!" Heidi said "For your information, I’ve ONLY seen it 9 times" Mary said matter-of-factly. "ONLY 9?!?!" Heidi said sarcastically. Just then Mary spotted something fall off the roof and then scurry off. "What was that!?" Mary said. "What was what?" "Something just fell off the roof, and ran off." "I donno" Heidi said as she and Mary got up and went outside to look, on the ground they saw a broken Capricorn necklace, the one that Dani NEVER took off. "What was Dani doing here?" wondered Mary aloud. "I DONT wanna know" said Heidi "Let’s see…ummm?" "How about Picture Perfect?" Said Mary. "OK, I’ll go ask Mrs. Hanson if she’ll drop us off." Said Heidi, while running inside.
