The Juan de Pablos' 2-CD tribute record is finally in
the streets including our live cover of "The KKK took my
baby away". Go get it at http://www.siroco.es.
We have been playing a lot these last monthsand we finally finished our
brand new demo. We recorded some tracks and decided to release our first
ever official CD named "Cuatro Maletas", that includes 5 "new" songs and
the "greatest hits" of TDI. A total of 11 tunes for only 9$. Write
us and we'll send it over anywhere!
We also finished the recordings of 2 Ramones' covers,
"I wanna be your boyfriend" and "She's a sensation" which will be released
on a 7" tribute to the fab four from Queens. It will be a split with norweigian's
punkrock new sensation Nullskattesnylterne
and german guitarist Harry
Coltello. It should be ready in August. We're really proud of the results!.

.
Febrary and March haven't been reaññy busy
months for us. Eduardo has had some health problems and we haven't been
able to rehearse nor play any shows. The last gig we did was at the Barroc
Bar and everything came out really cool. Great sound and atmosphere. We
hope to be back really soon!
Concerning our discographic projects:
1) Juan de Pablos and Siroco Records are going to include
our live recorded cover of "The KKK took my baby away" on a double CD which
will be released to congratulate the 20 years of "Flor de Pasión",
Juan de Pablos' radio show.
Everything was recorded first take and it has not been
remastered or anything like that, so well... some vocals are, let's say,
"here there and everywhere" but we really don't care. It's a pleasure and
it makes us all really proud to take part on this project. We love Juan!
2) We're negotiating with galician band "Huespedes Felices"
to release a split EP during summer. More news when everything's confirmed.
Right now we're finishing our recordings, and even when
we haven't still been abñe to record the percussion tracks, you
can listen to 3 songs on .MP3 format:
Dime
que me quieres (Tequila)

We feel very sorry to announce that the November 5 gig
is going to be the last one with Borja.
His goodbye is absolutely friendly and it's pretty likely
that he'll still be colaborating with us some way in the future. Eventually
the new "tipo de interés" is gonna be Francesc "Lesqui", ex-Malos
Tiempos Para La Lírica, who will be playing with us on october 29th's
gig in Calafell and doing half show on november the 5th. From there on
we'll keep working on all the tunes we want to record by the beginning
of 1999 produced by Miguel Ángel Villanueva (Los Brujos, Los Auténticos).
Now you know: don't miss our last gig at the Bare Nostrum
if you want to catch the last gig of the original line-up!

Ok, September is history
now, and as usual, we haven't recorded ANY demos nor rehearsed ANYTIME.
Anyway, our first real recording
project is still alive.
Miguel Ángel Villanueva,
(a.k.a
La Plana's Brian Wilson *smirk*), leader of pop
band "Los Brujos" has offered to produce our first serious recording. We'd
be recording at Rockaway Studios in Castellón, and even when we're
not able to forward any dates, we're hoping to travel there by February
1999.

Just a few lines to let you know
which are our plans for this summer. We decided to take profit of the good
situation we're in after our appearances in "Flor de Pasión" and
are thinking of recording a Mini-CD that should be out by the end of 98.
The idea is to choose and rehearse 7 or 8 tunes and record them (this time
in good conditions) in September.
If any record label, producer,
manager etc... would be interested in this project, just let us know. We're
fully open to any kind of offer.
Due to this, we won't be playing
too much during summer vacation. Seems like on August 5th we'll be playing
in Masquefa (60 km. from Barcelona), where we'll play as a quartet due
to David's holydays. We'll re-arrange the set a lil' bit and we'll be playin'
loads of covers.
On September-October we'll try
to be playin' in Ampuriabrava, at the Sala Nex venue. We'll keep you informed!.

On Saturday 27th of June we played
a great gig at the Pub Mediterráneo. It was going to be the last
gig of the season, and things came out really well. We got 60 people showing
up and were given the chance to play with the venue's brand new PA system.
This, along with the Pub's great acoustic, produced the best sound we have
ever had live. It was almost perfect!. Started out with a short 8-songs
set as a trio, and then Martí and David joined us. There weren't
too many surprises in our repertoire. Only "Volverte a ver", a song that
was rehearsed until a couple of hours before hitting the stage. Again,
David Celis, lead guitar and "secret weapon" became the center point of
all the attention, and also got lots of praise from the audience. It's
a must see!
. Our musical-spiritaul guide Juan de Pablos made us debutr on his radio show "For de Pasión". In early March he airplayed our Depressing Claim's cover "Marky está solo", giving it a lot of praise, and in the end of the month more songs like "Luna grande", "Cristina", and our latest cover of "The KKK took my baby away", by the Ramones, were given some airplay too.
