Human Cleric of Tackhisis

Verminaard was the leader of the Red Dragon Wing, and a cleric of the Dark Queen. Verminaard was perhaps the first true cleric after the true Gods return to Krynn. Verminaard's dragon was the male dragon Ember (Pyros). Verminaard was killed by Tanis Half-Elven and Sturm Brightblade. Verminaard carried the enchanted mace called 'NightBringer' which on his command, if it struck an oppenent' could cause them to be stricken with temporary blindness. The only warning that the opponent might have heard was Verminaard whispering the command word 'Midnight'.
