The first major battle, and first time proving his mettle of being the most superior, the fallen Lion Champion, Akodo Toturi, used his superior tactics with the forces of the Dragon and Unicorn, drive an army of Crab from the northern reigon of the Crane. Hida Sukune, who is in charge of the Crab army have made a stand in the pass of Spine of the World Mountains. Forced in a tight position and unable to use the might forces of the Crab, Sukune could hold down his position, untill his brother, Hida Yakomo, has joined the battle with reinforcements.

Akodo Toturi, using is unorthodox tactics have driven out the Crab. Shinjo Yasemura, and his Unicorn Calvary was left, while Toturi had retreated his tired army.
