Web site developers who are awarded a Zimbabwe Bird, will be sent a citation and a jpg image. The image and citation may then be posted on the award winning site. Some Zimbabwe Bird web awards have been awarded honoris causa. The details of the three awards made honoris causa will be posted here later.

Zimbabwe Bird web awards are not given out frivolously. The following criteria apply:

• the web site must be of African interest / relevance

• winners must have a link through to this site

• no extremist ideologies / agendas

• the site must be free of web kitsch

• all links must be working

• the site must show neatness of design, original art work etc.,

• no plagiarism

Developers who desire to be considered for a Zimbabwe Bird web award, should e mail the Zimbabwe Bird Web Award selection panel with the following details:

• site URL

• reply e mail address

• brief description of site

• details of any other web awards
