'IN  HUMANITY'

Age old philosophy,
How we see eye to eye,
You for you and me for me.

The "golden rule" seems tarnished,
A dismal darkened shade.
Life's wages are garnished.

Few men earn due respect.
Morals lay in decay.
Virtue's plagued by defect.

Social fabric's faded;
Families feud and hate;
Brotherly love's jaded.

Moth and rust doth corrupt,
While man with vengeance kills,
Causing wars to erupt.

Hearts beat broken and cold,
So full of selfish love,
Man's soul to Satan sold.

Age old philosophy,
How we see eye to eye,
You for you and me for me.
