This picture of my grandfather was probably taken when he was about
20. He worked all sorts of odd jobs, from selling things
door-to-door, to selling furniture, to banking, to schoolteaching,
and eventually to being the principal at Coffee County High School
in Alabama, then principal at Mobile's Barton Academy.
