I hate to admit what a pop culture junkie I am. I'd love to be able to say that I only listen to opera while reading the classics with the lights turned low, and the only tape that's ever passed the lips of my VCR has been "Citizen Kane". However, that's not the case. I was raised on the post-modern candy that has replaced true creative works of art. But then again, didn't Shakespeare written for the unwashed masses?
