1982-1984: Israeli Naval Academy.(Finished 6th of class).
1984-1987: Submarine branch officer, Israeli Navy.
1987-1988: Executive officer "Tanin" submarine.
1988-1989: Unpaid leave from the Navy, backpacking in East Asia.
1989-1991: Executive officer , "Rahav" submarine.
1991-1993: Commanding Officer of INS Haifa. (Antisubmarine fast attack missile boat).
1993-1996: Commanding Officer of INS Gal and INS Tanin. (IN submarines).
