Quotes, Quotes, and More Quotes...: Unresolved Cliffhanger Quotes
Here is my attempt at a page on unresolved cliffhanger quotes. That is, quotes that pretty much signify the essence of the cliffhanger. So without further ado, here goes!
"Ready, aim, (BANG!)" -- A firing squad shoots Jessica Tate on Soap.
"We can project who the winner will be." -- Benson and Gatling get ready to listen to the results of their governorship election.
"And the winner is?" -- The last line spoken on the show as Benson and Gatling hold hands.
"Oh my god." -- Bobby Ewing as he goes up to investigate J.R. Ewing's room, where a bullet has just been fired, in Dallas.
"How's Annie?" -- Agent Cooper, as possesed by evil demon Bob in Twin Peaks.
Duckman's bride: "Who's Beatrice?" Duckman: "My wife....deh, my, uh, first wife. (to Beatrice) I-I mean--you're alive." Beatrice: "Well, yeah, sure I am. Didn't Cornfed ever tell you?" Cornfed: "Guh....Duckman, I can explain." -- Duckman's friend better have a good explanation for why his supposedly dead wife has just suddenly appeared at his wedding.
"The big round guy finally let Sonic defeat him. Well, don't celebrate too soon, hedgehog. Now it's my turn, and I'm not alone!" -- Snively gets ready to reveal what he'll use to go after Sonic the Hedgehog.
"As they say at the Buttery, I'm ready to take your order; what will it be?" -- Capt. Victor Comstock to radio writer Betty Roberts, the final line of Remember WENN's final ep.
"Find a scent, find a trail, find them!..." -- Dr. Theodore Morris orders government agents to look for Michael Wiseman and family in Now and Again.
"Okay Stamos, hit it!" -- Principal Scudworth freezes goverment officials, students, and John Stamos at the Clone High prom conga.
"Well, personally, I kind of want to slay the dragon. Let's get to work." -- Angel... enough said.
