From "Let's Hit The Road "
Before Blitz was chosen, when it just shows his
head, while he's getting ready to beat up the burglar in the car, below
his collar is the color silver, as if he has his Road Rover uniform on.
From "Where Rovers Dare"
As the Burrow Tank Rover is dodging the laser fires,
Colleen and Hunter have a little chat (the conversation starts with Colleen's
"The EPA's not gonna like this"). During that conversation, if you notice
the back, the tank has already had a hole in the back, but the hole
was made AFTER the conversation.
From "The Dog That Knew Too Much"
After the Rovers rescue Sport from the motorcycle
gang everyone listens to him talk. In the front of the Street Rover are
Colleen and Hunter while Blitz sits in the back seat. If you look at Blitz
carefully you will notice he has the coloring/markings of Hunter.
When on earth did Sport and Parvo have the time
to chat and give away a tracking device?
When Sport comes out wearing his uniform, he pulls on it and the
animators animated it as it were a regular shirt, and not the armor that
it is.
From "Reigning Cats and Dogs"
When Shepherd was talking to one of his co-workers, he said he chose
5 dogs to test the transdogmafer. How could he have known about Hunter if
he was a stray? (And Colleen, for that matter...)
From "Take Me to Your Leader"
When Storm claims on planting the devices on the
leaders of the world, why were all of the leaders sleeping at the same
time? There are different time zones, aren't there?
From "The Hair of the Dog that Bit You"
There is a page on the sequence when Colleen turns info a werewolf, which
is here: http://members.aol.com/Ejrsemigod/tpa/coll.htm
. As you can see, she ripped away her uniform in that sequence, but when she changes back,
she's wearing it.
From "Storm From the Pacific"
When the lava flow stops, a large door blocks the
lava, thus the lava should have poured in instead of seeping on the ground.
From "Gold and Retreivers"
Luka points to Blitz and calls him a weird boy (like Exile would),
but Luka's still blind in that scene. For that matter, how would he know
the Rovers were here?
I read somewhere that a blind person doesn't see anything in their
dreams... and yet it is the main point of the opening. Speaking of
blindness, how's the blind kid supposed to get home now that he's lost
his dog?
I'm told that Hunter refers to the Amazon as the biggest river in
the world. I'm also told that it's a nitpick. Here's what I have to say:
There's probably a difference between being the
longest river in the world (the Nile)... and being the biggest.
The Nile might be the longest, but the Amazon has the
greatest river flow, according to
Guiness. Mull over that.
From "Reigning Cats and Dogs"
It seems as if the Master had a time machine of
his own, and yet there is no mention of it before or after this episode.
From "Let's Hit the Road" and "Reigning Cats and Dogs"
In "Let's Hit the Road", we find out that the effects
of Parvo's mutator don't last and when it wears off the mutated dog (or
whatever) shrinks back to normal. But the only "shrinkage" in the whole
series occurs in that episode. Plus Fluffy and the Dalmatian appear in
both "Let's Hit the Road" and "Reigning Cats and Dogs" but they had already
shrunk at the end of first episode so they couldn't have appeared in the
other one.
From "A Day in the Life"
In this ep, Exile does not know what a hot dog is, and reacts negatively
when told. However, during the taxicab ride in Dawn of the Groomer he's
watching Shag who is eating 2 hot dogs, & at the end of Gold &
Retrievers he's holding one himself. (From Nathaniel
T. Freeman.)
And here's a post from sanhusky@hotmail.com,
pointing out goofs from various eps:
"In "Where Rovers Dare" (I think), immediately before the "Tanks/no
tanks" conversation between Blitz and Hunter, look carefully while Hunter
is handing out biscuits. Just before he offers one to Blitz, the
dog in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen is colored deep brown
and tan, and he is munching on a biscuit. Either Blitz vaulted across
the room, shoved Exile out of the picture, took and ate the biscuit, vaulted
BACK to his place in front of the wall, and then promptly forgot about
the whole thing, or the animators colored Exile wrong.
And of COURSE.. In "Hair of the Dog," if Colleen was the werewolf all
along (I think it was cleared up that Exile never WAS a werewolf, only
Colleen, but I could be wrong), then what the heck are the scratches doing
on the INSIDE of Exile's BEDROOM DOOR? Did Colleen spend the night
with Exile? That raises more questions than it answers!
Also, why didn't Hubert the Bassett Hound check "wolf" FIRST when he
was smelling animals? Exile and Colleen TOLD him it was from a wolf...why
was there even an issue? (Because they never actually TOLD him. Though
there's no reason they shouldn't have... and Hubert's a bloodhound, not
a bassett hound.)
Plus, there was a MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR discrepency dealing with Parvo's
time-traveling (and how he, technically, does not exist)."
(Point taken. But check the Story Board out for
a little attempt at a work-around.)
