So, you've got the long-awaited wedding between Noelani Makani ["Island of the Menehune"] and Ray Rocket in one corner, and you've got the opening of the Zero Gravity Zone, plus a skating contest to celebrate, in the other. Let's just say things are not pretty if you were looking forward to seeing Otto skate against Lars in that contest to win a week with Shaun White, as he and Twister and Squid end up pulling a Marshall and Lance from the latter to save the former (they're not the first quitters on this show ["Rainy Days and Sundaes"]). So, in a nutshell, their long training for this big event was for bubkas... as is our long wait to see the big wedding itself, because they just skip over that bit. What kind of nutjob centers an ep (an hour long one, no less) around a wedding, and then totally screw it over? At least there is some good news from this: Before the Marshall and Lance-ing, Otto runs into some cancer survivor named Daniel Stark, who, thanks to some charity, was drawn into this ep (and was voiced by Stark himself). He's not the only Daniel this ep could have used more of... why no follow-up on Danielle the dead mom? Couldn't they at least have confirmed that she was the partner Noelani lost while surfing ["Island of the Menehune"]? Anyways, someone in the Nickdisk forum will fill in with the full snark later.
