TV studio. Tommy is "famous", but yet this gorilla guy (read: security guard) doesn't recognize him, much less let him in. Anyways, Finster decides to give lying a shot, and let me just quote the whole sequence.
"Okay this is serious, he's got to get inside. To tell his brother that his mother's uncle, uncle Dil, who he's named after, met with an untimely elephant accident. And he's at the zoo infirmary asking for little Dil. It's touch and go as we speak. Would you deprive a practically crushed man his last wish to see his great little....little great nephew?! Would I make this up?!!!" "Go get him, for uncle Dil."
Ironically, Dil really was named for his mother's uncle... I think. Been a while since I last saw "The Rugrats Movie". Tommy's surprised at Chuckie's big fib. Anyways, in the studio, everyone boos at Tommy as he arrives.
Java Lava. Here comes someone... "SURPRISE!" ... and it's just Drew. And Charlotte and her face lift. "AHH!" "Remember we aren't supposed to look surprised." "She (Betty) started it."
TV studio. As Tommy tries to make his point to Dil, the audience keeps yelling stuff at him. And then the host adds oil to the flame: "Tell us why you had a campaign to have Dil's name strickened from the family tree." How unscrupulous! And when Dil insists on doing a talk show about only children, that's the last straw for Tommy. He drags him off stage, and yells at the host for following him.
Backstage with Tommy and Dil. Tommy can't believe that Dil wouldn't be happy for his award win. So, what's it all about, Dilly? "I've always known that I see the world..." "Like a giant trangle, I know." "I'm different Tommy, you know like how I think. And I guess I was worried that if you were gone, there won't be anyone who, well you know, gets me." No kidding Dil. Note all the 4th graders who screwed you over. Tommy hammers the point he's being insisting on all ep... "D, I'm not going anywhere," and he continues... "And so you're different, so was Einstein and Mozart and...and.. and the guy who invented spam. You're the one who's gonna make a name for himself."

HAHAHAHAHA! Dil, making a name for himself? That must the biggest fib in the whole episode, right there! In case it's not, he's gonna be right there when it happens. Chuckie comes in. "Uh, guys can we go? They think I'm the next tragedy." But with the lack of a real excuse to bring Tom and Dil to the Java Lava, Chuckie'll have to spill the beans. Tommy to Dil: "It wouldn't be a surprise party without one of your suprises."
