FAMILY REUNIONS

THE DAUGHERTY REUNION Will be held on Aug. 8, 2009 at Mount Vernon Church in Butler County, KY. We will begin at 10:00am and go through 3:00pm. Anyone interested in the Owen Daugherty line is welcome to attend. We will have a presentation on the Ireland connection from Donna Burden Hart, and guided tours to cemeteries and home places. Please bring your family information and photos to share. We will have potluck at noon , please bring a vegetable or salad for lunch. THE BURDEN REUNION Will be held on the Sunday before Labor Day at the Ohio County Fair Grounds. People will start coming in around 10:00 am and there will be potluck for lunch. Everyone bring your family tree information and old photos. This reunion is held the same time every year.

THE RENFROW REUNION There will be a Renfrow Reunion the second Sunday in Sept. at the Renfrow Cemetery in Little Reedy, Butler County ,KY. Turn left off Hwy. 70 onto Little Reedy Road and go past brick house on the left and make a left on next road, this will take you into the cemetery. THE BAIZE REUNION Will be held on Labor Day at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Ohio County, KY. Beginning at 11:00 am. There will be a potluck dinner and everyone is encouraged to bring family information for the tree. This reunion was started by Jim Southard and David McQuady.

THE JENNINGS REUNION Charles and Margaret (Fulkerson ) Jennings family and friends July 8 2000 from 11:00am to 5:00 pm at Chautauqua Park Community Center, Owensboro , KY. Pot luck lunch , please bring cold can sodas. Swimming available for small fee. Rick Martin's Karaoke show for entertainment. Luke Flowers(photographer) will take group picture to order. WORLEY FAMILY REUNION The Second Annual Reunion of the Descendants Of William Worley(1790-1850) and Rosannah Likins(1796-1855) The reunion will be held Sunday, September 3rd, 2000(Labor Day weekend) at Lake Wappapello, Missouri, which is on Missouri State Hwy T about 20 miles norestwest of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. We will be using shelter #3 which is on Hwy T at the Visitor's Center and Gatehouse. William and Rosannah's Known Children and Spouses were: John and Abby Worley Bacon, James and Polly Allen Worley, Sam and Polly Painter Worley, Norman and Pop Worley Colburn, James and Elizabeth Worley Keown, William and Indiana Drake Worley and Leander and Betty Young Worley. William and Rosannah also had a son, George Carter Worley who died in the Civil War. He was never married. There will be genealogical material and old family pictures on display and hopefully those attending will bring old pictures to display and information on their ancestral line to be added to the research already completed. We plan to have pot luck shortly after noon, so bring enough for your family, along with lawn chairs and folding tables. Come, meet some of your many cousins, have a great lunch, visit during the afternoon and help make this second reunion as successful as the first one, which about eighty attended. For the early birds there will be someone at the shelter by 9:00 am. Lodging and Restaurants in the Lake area are very good and affordable. Fishing , boating and swimming is also very good. I'm enclosing a list of lodging at or near the Lake. There's also larger chain motels at Poplar Bluff, Sileston, Farmington and Cape Girardeau.
