Research Interests :

• Design and preparation of materials for third order nonlinear optics, such as diacetylene monomers and related conjugated systems.
  
• Preparation of monomers containing heteroaryl moieties and conjugated backbone structures and their solid state polymerisation.
  
• Study of the solid state polymerisation kinetics and mechanism using various techniques such as uv, gamma radiation, solid state NMR, single crytal X-ray structure determination.
