How Savage Garden began...
It all started in 1992 when Daniel advertised for a singer in the newspaper.
He got many replies and held a lot of auditions. But after Darren auditioned, Daniel knew he had a lead singer!
After a few years, Darren and Daniel decided to devote themselves entirely to music and broke off to write their own music.
Both knew it would be hard, but they did it! And because of their single "I Want
You," their album sold a whopping 70,000 copies within three days of
release in Australia.(that's almost platinum!) That CD went on to win many ARIA (Australian Record Industry Association) Awards.
Now "Affirmation", Darren and Daniel's second CD is out and has gained much success due to the release of "I Knew I Loved You," which has gone to number one on the charts. Currently, the singles "Crash and Burn" and "Affirmation" are making waves on American radio stations. Also, Darren and Daniel are currently on their Affirmation world tour.

Born: Essex, England, July 22 1973
Age: 27
Stats: 1.80m (6ft) tall, Blonde haired, green eyed
Mission in Band: Arranging the songs and the instrumentals
Family: 2 older borthers....Oliver and Johnathan
Fun fact: Daniel likes to take the back seat and work with the band. He's not a fan of doing the interviews like Darren is.
